The Chinese translation
of post graduate school is “research institute” which actually reflect the nature
of the studies.
Our last course was
conducted by a “strict” professor and he had requested a report after the course.
He had explained his
requirement and it was quite demanding as he requested a “thesis” like report. He
had explained that as a student in the “research institute”, we should be producing
up to standard paper during the course. One of our classmate have asked me with
a strange look, “Does our professor means that we are studying in ‘research institute’
?”
OMG… I gave her a grin
and said yes… well, after one semester, there are still classmate that haven’t got
any idea what we are doing….
It is really a chance of a lifetime and I appreciate it...
